Psalm 69:30 I will praise God’s name in song and glorify him with thanksgiving.
Most of the time I pray with a song in my heart. I feel the heart of God when I hear songs about and for Jesus/God.It makes my heart sing and the echoes just comes out my mouth to produce a lovely tone to utter.
Usually, I like contemporary song/ artist like: Chris Tomlin, Casting Crowns, Brandon Breath, 3RD Day and Mercy Me. I like too, the old favorite songs of our dearest Chrisitans like Don Moen, Tommy Walker and Israel Houghton.. I like some songs of HillSong and Lakewood Church choir.. I have no super favorite..as long as I have new tone for my ears that makes me really feel good, and makes me intimately devoting for Jesus, I want to play it again and again til’ my soul memorize every word and tone that it says. Songs are important especially when it glorifies God, and it motivates us to fall down on our knees to realize who is the Amazing God in your heart.
I am so grateful for musicians that really spend their talent and skills giving glory to God by their songs. For me,It’s totally a worship from the heart as well as encouraging others to worship with them too. Like virus, I consider good music such praise music contagious. ye. 🙂
